Pre-industrialized 3-dimensional modules

The 3-dimensional modules are composed of a metal structure (engineered according to calculations) for the floor, pillars, and roof, with their various "base" finishes.

The foundation will be done traditionally with reinforced concrete, including continuous beams, based on necessary studies (geotechnical, structural calculations, etc.).

Metal anchor plates will be mounted on the foundation, strategically placed at the pillars used to weld the module to the foundation, ensuring secure anchorage to the ground.

The system allows for the creation of a sanitary chamber since the floor is self-supporting between supports.

While typically the foundation is cast in situ, at +Area we can also prefabricate the foundation by making isolated footings with dimensions tailored to the project. This product is particularly suitable for areas with high ecological protection, isolated locations, or temporary projects with a removable nature.

Types of "base solutions" for pre-industrialized 3-dimensional modules:

Floor*:

Metal structure on which the following base types are installed:

Type S1: Composite slab with its corresponding reinforced concrete

Type S2: Trapezoidal metal sheet + acoustic sheet + reinforced concrete

Type S3: OSB (Oriented Strand Board) wood panel.

Type S4: No floor, including no supporting structure. This type is commonly used when installing over existing floor slabs or another module that already has a built-in floor.

Exterior Walls*:

Type P1: Trapezoidal metal sheet

Type P2: OSB (Oriented Strand Board) panel + breathable unidirectional membrane

Type P3: Steel sandwich panel (thickness according to project specifications).

Type S9; OSB wood board + continuous vinyl flooring.

As an option, interior walls, plumbing installations, electrical systems, and interior finishes available in the market can also be incorporated.

Our three-dimensional modules include a perimeter metal structure (Steel frame type) on their facade for supporting interior finishes, allowing for the passage of installations and the installation of additional thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as a vapor barrier if necessary.
